upgrading my computer.

right now i have a 1.2 gig intel pc, 512 mb ram,a radeon 7000 32m ddr tvo vid. card. im gonna upgrade to a 2 gig pc with 1 gig ram but dont know what vid card to get can someone tell me what a affordable but yet good graphics card to get is .

oh yeh im not rich im a poor white guy so my affordable isnt very high lol

What is your budget I recently bought a ATi Radeon x 850 AGP and we need to know if you have PCI slots PCI-E slots and AGP slots. The x 850 was 279.99 (OMFG NOW THAT I THINK ABOUT IT HOW THE HELL DID I AFFORD THAT?! hax.)

u have to open up ur comp to tell. search pics of pci, pcie, and agp on google, and compare them to the slots that you have.

or just look at the Mobo's manual thing that came iwth it. ooorrr if you know stuff about computers you can just look inside the pc and tell lol.

Yellow = PCI (Every computer HASS to have PCI slots but some might have a shortage of them.)

well the best upgrade would be a 6600GT, anything better than that will just bottleneck

i basically am when my income tax comes in i'm probably getting a new motherboard with a 2 gig processer a new vid card and probably upgrade my sound card.
