My other comp in the house has been getting very loud. Turned it on this morning to hear it really loud, even somewhat of a grinding sound. Anyone know what would cause it, and what I should do to fix it?

Well grinding worries me.... Could be your hard drive.... if thats the case back everything up to a cd/dvd to be safe....
Or take the sides off and look at your fans... check to see if any wires are hanging in it or a big dust build up. let me know your update

What we did with my parents comp is get a big air compressor ( because no one likes there comp and we dont either) and we sprayed all the dust out quite as a kitten :D

On my pc it was the little fan on the underside of the video card, check it out.

It does the job for cleaning out but make sure you do it well , you don't wanna scrap your motherboard or anything else when cleaning your computer.
You might wanna listen to your hard drive when starting the computer , if it goes with " Tack tack tack " then your hard drive will break soon.
Clean everything also while your at it, cpu fan + graphics card card if you have one + other fans on the computer
I get alot of noise computer problem at work and most of the time you just have to clean the cpu fan.
