ok now for the crosby highlights:

oh crap, other then the shootout goal on theodore, all of crosbys goals have been on ugly rebounds :O

other proof that ovechkin>crosby

quality players in washington: Alexander Ovechkin, Oli the Goalie

quality players in pitsburgh: Mario Lemieux (he retired), Sidney Crosby, Marc Recchi, John Leclair, Ziggy Palffy,Sergei Gonchar,Marc-Andre Fleury (goalie)

Yes but Ovenchkin is 20-21 and crosby is only 18 years old and he has lots of points also

But ovenchkin does some awesome goals.

Ovechkin is not nearly as surrounded with talent as crosby is.

The one thing that I really dislike in crosby, is probably how cocky he is, did you see him on the bench bossing 10-15 year veterans like marc recchi and john leclair?
wtf is wrong with him.

what were you expecting ?

The guy is making a good salary, thinks he owns everyone because he is backed up by Mario lemieux , but soon everyone will dislike him.

thats why he should never be called "The Next Great One"
he is nothing like #99

haha did you see when Ilya Kovalchuk got under crosby's skin. that was hilarious.
besides, im trying to say ovechkin is more of a complete player, he can check, score, pass, good stick handling, good speed, good defense (he usually just steals it right off the other guys stick)

while crosby is more of a one dimensional guy, hes getting more credit then he deserves, even if i was to pass the puck to marc recchi or leclair, theyd probably still score. No wonder he has so many assists, and the reason he gets so many goals is because defencemen are afraid to shove him off in front of the net because the referees seem to call alot of penalties when it happens around sidney, gotta protect "the future"

live in montreal so obviously i follow hockey
nhl lock out made me follow nfl & cfl
friends made me follow nba

speaking of the ovechking vs crosby rookie battle, ovechking missed last nights game because of a groin injury he suffered during the game vs pitssburgh where a d-man intentionnaly speared him (stick into balls), now if the pens werent afraid of Alexander the Great why did they do that?
