I am new at the webpage building scheme. I am in the process of building my first elaborate webpage and need some help. I am using a combination of Photoshop CS 2, Image Ready CS 2 and Dreamweaver 8. Photoshop, Image Ready and other Graphic Programs I know, but Dreamweaver 8 I have to teach myself. I have a temp page that I am going to put up but when I look at it as a test in Internet Explorer it doesn't fit right. You have to move both scroll bars up and down and or left to right. I want to be able to set up my page where there is no scroll bars and it fits to page.

1) What are the basic layouts size's for webpage's in pixels or inches (8" x 10" or 600 x 800) and the resolution (300dpi or 72dpi)

2) When I create art work or a page in Photoshop how do I import it to Dreamweaver and have it fit to the exact specifications of the page so there is no bottom or side scroll bars.

2) Any great tips or advice on using Dreamweaver 8 what ever it may be will be much appreciated.

When I got my degree in Graphic Design unfortunately the school I went to never taught us webpage design or web programs. I have to teach myself until I am able to take classes this summer. Thanks for your help it's much appreciated.
