Introduction
America's Army: Special Forces is a free first-person shooter, created by the U.S. Army. In this game, you will assume the role of a soldier in the U.S. Army. You will go through different training missions, including marksmanship, medic training, and sniper training. Anyway, on to the meat of this review.
Story: N/A
There really isn't a story in this game, besides from the fact that you play as a U.S. Army soldier fighting against Opposing Forces.
Gameplay: 10/10
Here's where the game really shines. Before you can enjoy this game fully, you'll need to go through some training missions. Most are easy, and some are extremely boring. There is only really one hard mission amongst these, and that mission is Escape and Evade, a Special Forces training mission. Once you complete the training, you'll be able to get online and play with other people. Honor is kind of like your ranking, and you start at 10. If you kill your teammates, that will contribute to your ROE(Rules of Engagement) points, which will take points away from your account. You can then drop down an honor. Usually the higher your honor, the more you are respected. There are many maps to be played, and your teammates will usually work together and work as a team.
Sound: 10/10
The sound is fantastic, though there isn't any music. Gunfire is constantly erupting all around you, as you frantically search for cover. Everything sounds like it should, and each gun has a different sound when you fire it. There is a list of commands you can issue out to your teammates, all of which sound great.
Replay Value: 10/10
You will constantly keep coming back to this game, wanting more and more. This game should last you for a good while if you are a big fan of first-person shooters.
Overall: 10/10
America's Army: Special Forces is a great game which I suggest you go and download right now, so you can get into the action! Best of all, the game is fully free!
Wish I could mention more but as it's an mmo fps there's not much more to it.
