Ok for my birthday I was given internet access in my bedroom. Upon realizing this I also realized how unsafe the internet is. What's a really good free antivirus and antispyware? BTW I'm getting AIM again for the first time in 8 years so my AIM is ctscott6.

You should either get Norton AntiVirus or McAffee. Both are good, but I think Norton has more features and is easier to use. You should also download Microsoft AntiSpyware.

Norton isn't free, but i'm not sure about Microsoft AntiSpyware. Search it on google.

search and destroy is very good for the cost, free :-D also www.pandasoftware.com has a free virus scan service on their site, if your stapped for cash its useable, but of course its a pain, always better to get a good virus scanner, but those cost money
