Ortiz is just going to take him down and lay n pray for the descision.

Griffin can submit fighters from the bottom though. It will be an interesting fight since Griffin has been training with team Qwest (Randy Couture) and he's going to spend the last two weeks before the fighting training with Chuck Lidell who as we all know has an amazing take down defence.

If griffin learns from Chuck how to defend, then hes gonna win. If not Tito is going to wrap him up, pick him up and slam him. Then just spend the rest of the round trying to gain position.

Im hoping Griffin keeps it on his feet and wins the match.

Nah Ortiz is going to dominate him. Infact im putting money on it online at this betting place they just opened up a MMA sport section.

Ortiz was dominating in his weight class for awhile... I mean chuck laid him out but before that the last fight I can remember him losing was Frank Shamrock... Not counting his loss to randy cotoure because I mean Randy was probly the best ground man in that weight class.

I wish Bas Rutton was still fighting : (

I dont think he will be able to learn chucks take down defence that took a long time to learn if you watched his earlier pride fights. I really think Forrest is out classed in this one. I think even dana white knows this. I think they threw Tito a bone for the sake of ratings for the ultimate fighter show. And to boost the Tito vs ken rematch.

The light heavyweight division is really improving.

How bout Arlovski vs Tim Silvia? Who's your money on?

JAGeBoyle
04-11-2006, 06:13 PM
I couldnt put money on that one...

whats that sayin...

He has a strikers chance....

Both drop heavy shots. First to miss a block and not recover fast enough loses...

I do think it will either be these 2 outcomes.

Arlovski by submission or Silvia by knockout/ref stop

I mean Arlovski has some HEAVY momentum going into this one. But Silvia had that 16 win streak he isnt exactly a normal "challanger" He looks like he trained alot harder and will be alot more prepared.

I cant see either of them being an underdog in this fight.

Yea probably wont go the distance there, stupid ppv is expensive :(

www.sherdog.com is amazing for the play by play on the forum. My sat was down last ppv and I used that for the Bj penn vs George fight..

GSP is looking better and better every fight. Granted he probly broke his nose in the Penn fight but it was a lucky ass uppercut that did it. I mean in slow motion they showed his nuckle BAIRLY made contact just hit the tip up. In a fury of swings it happens. Ive yet to see him really dominated on the ground.

I think his loss to matt hughes really woke him up and made him improve his style and ground work.

The problem is there isn't enough UFC on. Most of the time spike has CSI which is really repetetive if you ask me.

most of the videos i had posted have gotten owned by copyright. Except for the bonnar and griffin one.

Also on a poll on spike tv, asking which fight you would like to see again, Bonnar VS Griffin has gotten 54% of the vote. I hope its a rematch and not a repeat of the last one.

After reading alot of this betting site I realized if I throw say $8 on tito I would only make $1 thats how heavy favored he is in this fight. After reviewing I saw they heavily favored the pittbull Arlovski so I went $20 on Silvia praying for a lucky KO. Ill gain $56 if I win.

CRAZY HORSE.... I must say he is the most entertaining fighter ive seen in awhile.

AA is going to submit or ko silvia. Crazy hoarse is just a rat.......that tackles refs.

Nobody is unbeatable and with the heavy weight division it seems to be a lucky shot can end it. Silvia has been training his ass off if he losses this he would have to really earn another shot. it would be 2-0 and thats not something he wants. AA has been on a roll but remember Silvia was on a 16-0 roll when he was champ. He has the camp and the ability to land that devistating shot to end the fight. Just hope he can do it.

Crazy horse in K-1 made me laugh my ass off. I was shocked to see him. I saw him on this King of the cage and thought it was a low budget ufc lol.

you just lost your money on silvia boyle. If he gets taken down once then its over, and AA also has knockout power.

JAGeBoyle
04-13-2006, 06:49 PM
I think AA has knockout power normally... I think with Silvia he has possibly knockdown power. I dont think AA can knock out silvia unless its on the ground. Its a wild bet I know but I dunno something about silvias confidence is making me back him. plus the huge underdog worked.

Heres a short summary Boyle.

Team Shamrock had control as we saw last time and decided to match up Noah Inhofer (Team Ortiz) against the young Jesse Forbes (Team Shamrock).

Shamrock decides to give his team two practices off so they can recover from all the bumps and bruises. Upon their return from their break they are hardly working in the ring and Shamrock takes it out on Kalib (Won advanced into the semis last week). All the fighters were not happy with how Shamrock was and bassicaly were complaining in the car.

Ortiz gave Noah a basketball to put on his left arm and to hold up. To get used to having his arms up during a fight. When he went home the guys screwed around with the ball and while team ortiz was practicing, Jesse Forbes stabbed the basketball with a steak knife and put it in Noah's bed to create some kind of Godfather effect. During team Ortiz's practice Noah hurt himself (most of the team didnt think he should even work out), he rolled his ankle, he hid it the whole day and had it taped during the fight.

Jesse was dominating the fight but he was overconfident, he toke Noah down and was bassicaly dominating him. Ortiz was shouting directions to Noah which he followed. Result, Armbar. Noah wins.

Its still not the first season. The house needs a Chris Leben :P
