I spent 2 hours working on my new desktop layout. Be sure to look @ All the different details here and there :P

Vertical toolbar? - Whats the point? The shortcuts on it tell you nothing because it's gets cut off in 4 letters. A miniWMP? yuck
Individual IM's? - What's the point? Excess redudant features on all of them probably is not too memory effecient. Ever hear of Trillian?
Small details - Two clocks (not synced)? A calendar? A horrid Winamp skin.

I guess if your layout works for you .. go for it. Imo why would I need to make my desktop look special, who is gonna see it? And if I "did" care about what my computer desktop looks like, I'd probably in reality care about them saying, "Dude, your a fucking geek". All in all I throw all my icons on one side, set a nice solid black background, and compile all my naughty things in a folder named "New Folder" on the desktop, for those who may take a walking glance at my computer, that's it.

I just keep it clean. Dont like alot of junk on it. Reason I have the folder on there. All my shortcuts are in it.
