Ok, i'm sure most of you read the other review, but in my personal opinion, it didn't give it justice. So, Im writing a new one, more in-depth and more descriptive.
Intro/story: Oblivion is a single-player game that takes place in Tamriel's capital province, Cyrodiil. You are given the task of finding the hidden heir to a throne that sits empty, the previous emperor having been killed by an unknown assassin. With no true Emperor, the gates to Oblivion (the equivalent of hell in the world of Tamriel) open, and demons begin to invade Cyrodiil and attack its people and towns. It's up to you to find the lost heir to the throne and unravel the sinister plot that threatens to destroy all of Tamriel.
Gameplay: This game has well over 200 hours of gameplay, if every single quest is found and completed. You start off as a prisoner in the Imperial city dungeons, from here you learn the basic storyline, as well as the in-game tutorial that you must complete before heading out into the wide world. The difference between Oblivion and most other RPG style games out there, is in order to increase certain skills, you must use them! Training is pretty much not a factor in this game, as you can only train FIVE times per level. So in order to succefully master a skill, you must use it.
The greatest part of this game, is by far the different "Guilds" you can join. Each guild has it's own ranking system, rewards, quests, NPC's and Guildhalls. By joining a guild the members of that guild like you better, offer you services, tell you rumors and help you with quests. Here are the main guilds you can join and a description of what each represent.
Fighters Guild: The fighters guild is pretty much the Hands for hire, Civilians hire the Fighters guild for any Hands on job that needs done that they either can't do themselves or are to lazy to. The fighters guild will not accept any contract that breaks the law, which makes them sorta like Rent a Cops :)
Mages Guild: The mages guild pretty much explains itself, they deal with anything magical that needs doing, enchanting, protection, weeding out the nasty little necromancers that pray on innocent travellers :)
Thieves guild: The thieves guild is pretty much the Robin hood guild, you can't kill, steal from the poor, or from any other member. You will take your orders from the "Gray Foxes" right and left hand people. Eventually, if your lucky the Gray Fox himself might seek your assistance.
Dark Brotherhood: They are the assassins of the game, no matter who needs killed they'll do it, for a price that is. If you join the Dark Brotherhood, be prepared for lots of stealthy adventures and dangers, as there are no quests that are for the noobie player here.
Blades: You must join the blades in order to complete the game, infact it is one of the first guilds you join. The Blades are the protectors of the Emperor, his Secret Service if you will. They guide you through the main quest. Nuff said.
Not sure if I'm missing anything, but that covers the guilds.
Sound/Graphics: The sound and graphics in this game are astounding, I played on the Xbox 360 and I must say I was VERY impressed with the looks and sounds. In order to understand, I'm proving several screenshots:

As you can see, the graphics are GREAT.
Replay Value: This game has great potential in replay value, I went through the game as a swordsman, and I'm currently going BACK through as an archer. This game will keep you busy for 200+ hours, then it'll have you wanting to play it again as a new style of character. Overall this game can be played 2-3 times with new experiences and adventures each time, you will never get bored of this game :)
Overall: This game is a MUST BUY FOR ANY RPG FAN! This game rocks in ever aspect of a video game. 20/20 :)
Hope you enjoyed my little review, it was my first one so be kind :P
