Rakion is a game that requires both strategy, and the ability to point in the right direction with your mouse.
The reason i classed it as rpg/fps is that you can level up your character , buy items, add stat points, but the movement is more of an fps style, you move with w,a,s,d jump with space, block with shift and to look in the direction you move your mouse like an fps.
Characters available to be played:
Blacksmith ( Powerful but slow, considered a tank, only one that can move while blocking)
Main weapon = Hammer, Throwing axes
Swordsman ( Quicker then blacksmith, he just an annoyance)
Main weapon=Sword, Throwing swords
Mage (Hes a midget, he has multiple spells, Ice, Fireballs, Homing Fireballs, Rejection, Ice grab)
Main Weapon = Staff, Magical Grenades
Ninja (Quickest class, her basic attack is weak but she has the best grab [hardest move to pull off], and is also the best at defeating the golem)
Main weapon= Dagger, Ninja Stars
Archer ( She is the killstealer on the team, when an arrow hits the player gets stunned for a second, which allows her teammates to annihalate him, shes quick but people usually chase archers )
Main weapon: BOW, knife
Game Modes:
Stage: Kind of like adventure mode, can be played in teams, try to clear the stagest in the quickest time by defeating all the monsters and receive a big gold and experience award.
DeathMatch: Try to get to the kill limit first, everybody vs everybody
Team Deathmatch: (Team Game) Your team tries to get to the kill limit first, Blue Vs Red
Note: In All team games enemies have blue names even if they're on the red team
Golem: (Team Game) Try to defeat the golden golem in the middle of the level, then defeat the other teams golem to win, or kill all the players on the opposing team
Items that can be bought include:
Weapon1,Weapon 2, Creatures to summon, Helmet, Body Armor, Shoulder plates, Wrist Plates, Rings, Bracelets.
Common questions
What Is CP on the top left of my screen?
CP is chaos points that you receive when you attack an enemy, you can use cp to summon your creatures
What are the colored squares on the bottom right?
Everytime you get a kill, a square gets colored, when your pet gets you a kill, you get half a square, when they are all colored your character should be surrounded by a blue aura which means you can go into chaos mode
What is Chaos Mode?
It Transforms your character into a bigger, badder version of itself, its attack changes and most of the time, everybody will run in fear of you, because you can kill them with 2-3 attacks.
Controls
w or up arrow: move up
s or down arrow: go backwards
a or left arrow: go left
d or right arrow: go right
space: jump
shift: block
q: swith weapons
Mage:
With staff
left click: staff slap (basic)
left click + left click= double staff slap (basic)
up up left click : Ice (profusion, long range)
hold right click: healing ball (special attack)
Both mouse buttons: Push everyone away
Both mouse buttons when right behind or infront of enemy: Front grab, back grab (Front grab while make them stuck in a block of ice)
With magical grenade
Hold left and let go: Throw grenade
Hold right while targetting enemy: Homing grenade (Let go when circle gets red)
Every character has multiple attacks of his own, if you need any help learning them ask me.
