Yes, I know it would be nice to have upto 1000 songs on one disc lol. Would be a godsend, all my cd's are all stacked beside eachother getting scratched up lol.

No , a DVD won't play in a CD player . If you had a DVD player in your car , most likely it could play the MP3's , most modern DVD players are both DVD and CD capable and are also MP3 capable as well ( some are even supporting Divx format now too ) . However , the reverse is not true . CD players can only play CD's , they usually won't even recognize a DVD as a valid disc , spitting it out with an error code ( assuming it doesn't lock it up , I've seen that happen and had to shut off the CD player , disassemble the cabinet and remove the DVD with a pair of plyers . )
On the flip side , A friend of mine has a DVD carousel player , holds up to 100 DVDs . Most are movies , but he has about 10 DVD's worth of MP3's in their too . His entire CD collection ripped to MP3 and burned to DVD .
Hmmmm , I'm babbling while typing ? Not a good sign . Too much information ? lol
