GOOD meets EVIL
OK i thought that the old cov review (wasnt even a review) needed an update.
Here is a review for City of Heroes and City of Villains...
Both created by NCsoft and are massively multiplayer online role-playing games, the COH has been around for a while, it came out in 2004 while its sequel came out mid 2005. Both games have created dedicated fans...its helped many crack and meth addicts turn away from drugs and play in a world full of adventure.
COH: be the good guy fighting for justice, and peace in the world (big city known as paragon)
COV: Be the kick ass bad guy showing no mercy to anyone, killing hords of heroes, and cops...trying to take over the world of paragon.
Anyway both games play relatively the same, just like any other mmo you have missions and stuff to go after and its really amazing the freedom you have to do this. Anyway what sets COH/COV apart from other MMorpgs is the level of customization on your character. This game lets you make a character that you have probably been dreaming of...almost anything you can think of you can make...go for Spiderman, hulk, x men character...make up your own crazy character its all good. THE POSSIBILITES ARE ENDLESS

When you are done making your character you can chose your powers and even make a little bio for your guy so everyone can see. Choose different archetypes, be a brute, stalker, mastermind, dominator, corruptor, archer guy...you can make your guy a strong fighter, or a blaster shooting energy balls and fire balls like in dbz, or control shit with your mind, even create your own little army of ninjas, robots, mercenaries, demons with the mastermind. If you’re not into the whole i got power stuff you can have your guy use weapons like swards, rifles, maces.
One of the most intriguing aspects of COH/COV is the power, once you chose your archetype, and origin (like how or were you came from), you set off into the world and fight, once you reach level 6 you get too chose a pool power, this lets you get some extraordinary things. You can chose from flight which gives you the ability to fly, leaping this gives you a super jump ability, super speed enough said, teleportation. Using these powers makes it easier and faster to move around the city (also its fun as hell going on top of a tall building and jumping off hoping you don’t die).
Now in game features allows you to create your own super base or headquarters. Here you can stock op on supplies and just pimp your crib out. Eventually you will want to make a super group (hey maybe jage can have a super group) this is basically like a guild or team, help each other and do mission and fun stuff...When you get a base sometimes you get attacked by other super groups and have to defend it, this is the fun part.

All in all the game is amazing, you can buy them both or separately for about $ 30-40, the level cap is 40 to 50 and one thing that is great about the game is if you mess up on your character…whether it be his look, or power you can change them even if you get to the last level and just fuck up.

One hell of an amazing game, I am going to start playing once I get back from vacation and you guys should start too.
