Name: Darkfall Online
Type: MMORPG
Release Date: No public release date - beta tests begin soon.
Website: www.darkfallonline.com
Well, what really hit me first was the introduction to the game; "Welcome to a world where you shape the epic sagas that will be told to future generations. Welcome to a world where the fate of millions hangs in the balance as player clans struggle for supremacy. Do you have what it takes to become a legend?"
In Darkfall there are 6 classes, many of which I have not heard of in games, and two that seem to come as a must in nearly ever MMO. The classes are the Alfar of Nagast, the Dwarves of Dvergheim, Humans of Mercia, Mahirim of the Tribelands, Mirdain of Mirendil, and Orks of Morak. Here are pictures of the classes in order listed above.

The game is still in the beta stages but here are some interesting facts, and quotes that I've read around the forums and just from browsing around the website.
"Spells will be divided into several different schools of magic: Lesser Magic, Greater Magic, Element of Fire, Element of Earth, Element of Water, Element of Air, Witchcraft, Spell Chanting, Necromancy, Wild Magic, Arcane Magic, and Ritual Magic. In addition there are some special spells that do not fit directly into any school of magic, such as racial specialty spells, and Prestige class specialty spells."
"The world is huge, possibly the largest single online game world ever created."
Here is a neat comment I read on their forums written by a forum member.
"But basicaly you have to aim your bow w/ lack of crosshairs, aim your spell with the same thing but best yet your arrow and such will be moved by the wind, so lets say its blowing east at 30 mph its gonna move the arrow to the east. Butim sure theres gonna be a good amount of damage with the arrows."
The review is weak right now because of the lack of core conent on the game right now, and for the reason that I haven't really looked into too much. But my interest level is quite high with this game, and I'm sure we've registered for the Clan beta.
