Is Link headed to Hollywood?

Nintendo's Mexican publication, Club Nintendo, has recently revealed startling information to Nintendo fans, Legend of Zelda fans in particular.


According to the magazine, Reggie Fils-Aime has confirmed Nintendo's plans for a Legend of Zelda movie. Although I am still very skeptical on the validity of this article, it is seems odd for Nintendo to lie about something so grand in their own publication.


In the article, Reggie also "revealed" back stage efforts towards the upcoming Metroid movie. Reggie states that a Legend of Zelda movie would come if the Metroid movie proves successful; to follow Legend of Zelda is another Super Mario motion picture as well.


I don’t know how to take this news. Metroid, Legend of Zelda, and Mario are easily my favorite game franchises and seeing how "great" the Super Mario movie was before; it’s hard to be excited for these films. Let’s hope Nintendo has learned from their 93 bomb, Super Mario Bros. Movie.

10000/10 is the average rating that damn movie is getting, a friend of mine gave it to me and the fight scenes, the story and its coherence with the game itself, are all amazing, did i mention the amazing animation and graphics


unless this movie is made in japan, then its gonna blow, yes i know its harsh but all animated movies made in this side of the planet are usually made with funny looking characters.

if you want a realism type of movie, gotta go with the japanese (Jeez i wonder what the creators of advent children could do if they got to make this movie)

Yeah advent children is the best video game movie I have ever seen. Let's hope Link can at least beat out FF the spirits within lawl

Im a fan of the rock.... but the doom movie sucked....


The silent hill move looks VERY good thus far but then again so did doom by the previews.

oh man that would be awesome for link and mario!!! i never really played or cared for metroid prime whatever samus if you will i think, but thatd be awesome...wonder what itll be about NOW, besides saving another princess. i didnt know there was already a mario movie that was realeased....and yeha most video game movies suck, i heard there might make a kingdom hearts one too but i dont know davey....
