I've been having trouble with my mouse. It's USB and when I plug it in it says not recognized. Is there a way I can fix this or am I gonna have to get a new mouse. The one I have is pretty good. It's a Logitech MX310 Optical, If I can't fix it does anyone have suggestions as to what kinda mouse I should get?

Okay I found a mouse upstairs that works so at least I know it's not my USB that's broken, but I do prefer using my other mouse so I'd still like the advice.

reinstall their drivers off their site .. or maybe your USB port is loose and you need to plug it in a different one.

I tried all 4 they were working. I'll trying getting the drivers, but I think I might have dropped it one too many times. I'm on a laptop so I move around alot. I'll repost if the drivers work otherwise it's still broken.

I don't think I was too expesive. My Aunt got it for me for Xmas a while back. I downloaded and installed the stuff for it but it still isn't working so I think I'll just get a new one. Thanks for the help though.

Yeah I do have the money so I got the MX1000 Laser. It's cordless which is cool. The guy said if anything happens I can return it even if its been opened so I'm going to try it out for a while and see. It's a righty only mouse it has a thumb curve on the left side only which is fine for me. I'm gonna go test it out on MoH.

Wireless for desktop is pointless imo. Stock up on batteries.

You'll sometimes get a delay with wireless mouses, because well, they're wireless

unless u get like a pro one

corded mouses will always have better response than wireless :)

but that a nice mouse

at least you didnt get the g5 :)

I like it so far. I was having a little trouble with it when I was in bed on my comp because it's so precise that it picked up all the little wrinkles in my sheets so it was kinda spazing, but then I just got a mouse pad and it was fine.
