Have read them all also, have some original copies thanks to the family. Always loved them growing up, but have a bad hunch they're gonna over "hollywood" it this time.

Though I did find another series I rather enjoy that's also on its' way to film.

"Eragon" was a wicked book couple years back, the sequel "Eldest" is even better and puts the first to shame.

The author has a very interesting system he worked out for the means by which magic works, and a fairly impressive lore of his world. While keeping the reading light enough as to not bore the crap out of you at times (IE Tolkien syndrome)

For those who know about the book, this is the cast

Edward Speleers - Eragon (new to film)
Chris Egan - Roran
Jeremy Irons - Brom (Die Hard, couldn't of possibly picked a better brom)
John Malkovich - Galbatorix (If you don't know malkovich ur a tard)
Djimon Hounsou - Ajihad
Sienna Guillory - Arya (the chick from Resident Evil 2 who wasn't mila)
Robert Carlyle - Durza (trainspotting, formula 51, ect)
Garrett Hedlund - Murtagh (Brad Pits cousin in Troy)

Alun Armstrong - Uncle Garrow
Gary Lewis - King Hrothgar
Joss Stone - Angela
Tamsin Egerton - Katrina
Caroline Chikezie - Nasuada

(PS sry to hijack the thread hehe)
