View Full Version : Name Changes Made Easy

Made this real simple. Anyone is able to change their own names. No more posting and waiting for it to be done. No more having to change peoples names that registered wrong. Anybody can do it, its that simple.


Now how to do it. Click on Quick Links, then edit User Control Panel. At which point you will then click on edit, email, password, username option. Its that simple. Even Fan can do it.


Down sides to this. It can only be done once a year. If you mess up, oh well your stuck with it for a year. You take the chance of people not knowing who you are and could miss out on a promo.

looks good. Remember people might not know who you are if you change your name.

intersting i like the idea. Now people can change their names. Only problem is how will i know whos who if they change their name, without making a post about it?

Basically, Officers and higher will be able to see any name change by clicking on a usersname in a post. If they changed their name it will show there. There is also a option in the admincp under users to search fo rname changes.

Actually I have had it for awhile, just waited to actually release it to everyone. I have I would say 5 or 6 mods right now installed on the site, that I havent even posted about yet. Silly lad.

Yea true story. There are a few more mods we have that arent announced yet because were still working on it... One for our games currently. One for members and a few others that are spiffy. Oh and its open mods like he said so its not really a competition. plenty of clans are releasing them now or did previously with previous mod releases.

no its both getting mods from the same source... thats like saying every zon in d2 copied another using a windforce. Someone created it for all to use... Now if they accually made the mod then that would be a different story.
