Well, hopefully I'm getting one sometime this or next week. What games should I get with it? Right now, I'm thinking about getting Dead Rising, Oblivion, Halo 2, and my friend is going to let me borrow Saints Row. I'm also getting Gears of War as soon as it comes out. Any suggestions on any better games? Also, since my TV is about 20 - 50 ft. away from me, how much would a wire be to hook up the Xbox to my router?

first off...

make sure u get an intercooler so ur system dont over heat lol they are about 20$

Then make sure u get :

Elder Scrolls Oblivion
Gears of war ( Nov 1st is release date)
Dead Rising
nitety nine knights (is ok try getting it used to see if u like it or not that way u can still return it within 30 days)
Need For Speed Carbon (forget exact release date its like nov. 8th or sumthin like that)
Assasins Creed (o-m-f-g comes out next year no date is set but it will rock your socks)
Splintercell Dlb Agent (just came out)
Chrome Hounds
Saints Row
Halo 2 ( i guesss for now)

Theres also 3 halo games comming out.... and a movie too
Halo 3
Halo wars
and peter jacksons Halo (lol)
the movie being done is by peter jackson like when he did king kong....

All 3 games are due out within the next 2 years - 4 years so dont go to your Gamestop or EB and bug the crap outta the employees because i will slap the person accross the face if they do it to me.

eh...

Too Human ( looks like crap but thats my opinion)

all i know off the top of my head... after i get off work ill print out the new releases for the xb360 ps3 and wii and post the games and release dates k? k

Ok thanks. Ya, I'm definately getting Gears of War within a week of the release date.
For ninety nine nights, I heard it was shitty, bad gameplay. The graphics don't look decent either.
Splinter Cell, nah, didn't like the first two and probably won't buy it until I see how it is irl.
I'm also looking at this fucking amazing MMOFPS game called Huxley. OMFG I can't wait until that game comes it. It looks amazing.

well theres no date for huxley atm so no word on that yet but i'll keep ya
ll informed on it

splintercell.... been out for a week ish and have no "used" copies yet so it must be either A good B long or C it sucks so bad those who own it dont want gamestop/eb to resell such a horrible game and they are sparing the world the atrocity that is spintercell

Save ur money and buy a Wii...

But seriously Xbox 360's are kinda a waste. All the games that are half decent (with the exception of Dead Rising) are re-released on other next-gen systems or the comp.

The Wii is 250 plus you get 2 controllers and a game I believe. The Xbox is 400 with 1 controller but then you hafta buy a hard-drive for it to save your game data for an extra 50 bucks.

Plus my friend has an Xbox 360 and all that thing does is cause problems. First is was a corrupt hard-drive which he sent back. Then he hadda get a new router cause the other one wasn't compatible; NOW he has to send it back cause his over-heated and it ruined one of his games which they WON'T REPLACE.

I trust microsoft about as far as I can throw them for console gaming.

The only thing the Wii is good for is releasing remakes of old Nintendo games. I want to play Next-gen games and I want to see them in great graphics, and it was either this or PS3, and no way am I going to buy a PS3, too expensive and graphics and harddrive won't be as great as the XBOX 360.

Dude sever any connections you have between the Gamecube and Wii. Wii is gonna be releasing some AWESOME games and at its worst it will tie the 360 graphics wise. I mean look at Red Steel. That game has awesome graphics and it will have great gameplay. So far I am far more psyched about the launch games for Wii then the games set to come out up to a year from now for the 360. Xbox 360 just fails imo.

It doesn't have that many releases yet because at the moment, it's the only next-gen system that's currently out. Also, everyone's excited about Red Steel, I've read many reviews about it, most of them saying how the game has only decent gameplay, nothing special, and not that great graphics. The only thing that makes people want to buy the Wii is for the remote. I don't blame them for that. But if you're going to buy it for next-gen games that are also coming on 360 and PS3, don't buy it.

well the PS3 will be sony's bane... mark my words the only good game they have coming out for it is MGS4

I know, which is why I'm not even thinking about buying it. It's a waste when that it's only "original" game.

The 360 is good just I am a hardcore nintendo fan. And any FPS that comes out for 360, you can get for PC

1st did john have an inter cooler? no thats why it over heated
2nd the $400 system comes with a hard drive so theres no extra 50 and yes one controller used the 50 to buy an inter cooler for 20 and u have 30 to put toward a game
3rd john had one of the first few shipments of systems and hardwares defects are common
4rd wii has one controller with it and wii sports which is like an area of sports games .. wii is 250
5rd wii demos and interactives come in this week YAHOOO and to play u have to drop $40 as a "collateral" so no one runs off with our controllers and if u do .. we keep the 40 buy a new one and have someones ass hunted down and layed by a nice warm fire

graphics wise wii is not as strong as the 360 or ps3

the wii is only as powerful as 3 game cubes

only reason wii is cheaper is cuz they didnt put a dvd player on it

microsoft belive it or not is robbing its gamers.... the games are over prices because they still use DVD format = cheapo

Sony is using Blue Ray and if u see a blue ray player they are 1000+ so 600 for a blue ray dvd formatted game system is cheap nice and i can understand why their games are $60 but microsoft has no excuse

Sony is Loosing BIG TIME on this system because of the blue ray player but its not too bad of a deal.. the games do in my opinion suck for launch which is why ps3 wont do so hot this season.

the PS3 however godfather is more powerful than the xb360, the processor is more powerful, the graphics are better...

in system power and graphics

1st ps3
2nd xb360
3rd wii

But the wii will sell more this season because of its sheer inovativeness

shit 360 degree full movement detection roxxorz

dont dude

if u or your friend have a ps2 or PC get it on that

PC and Ps2 players can play together more ppl = more community

xbox live is on its own in its own little world and cant play with those who have for pc or ps2..

your basically loosing if u play on xb live

Well, I bought the Xbox yesterday, me and my sis spent I think $700 on it? We bought the premium package for $400, which is worth it since it comes with Xbox Live Gold free for a month, wireless controller, 20 GB HD, and HDTV wires to play on the big screen, which, if you didn't buy it together in one pack, and want to buy it later on, you'd spend about another $100 on it. I also bought Dead Rising, Oblivion, Halo 2, and Perfect Dark Zero.

Now, I've been with Sony since Playstation 1, but I chose to move on to Xbox because of Xbox Live, which is a lot more user friendly and more people playing it than the PS2 online, the graphics that they have so far, which I think they did a great job on it since they released it early, and the games, they are all original, no releasing sequels and prequels of games repeatedly.

You can't compare the games with the PS3, so far, they're all unoriginal, and the games that are coming out on the PS3 are also coming out on Xbox 360, so if you want to just buy those games, then buy the Xbox since it's cheaper and the graphics are really tied.

Eh, I'll think about it. Idk at the moment, once my friend gets his Xbox and drives me so I can get Gears of War, I'll probably buy it then, since I have no other way of getting to Best Buy or any game stores, nearest one is 5 miles away.
