Weight room for baseball? Your obviously doing the wrong training regiment, you should be swimming and doing stuff that'll improve your throwing, and your ability to stand for five hours.

Im Canadian, what the hell age is a freshman, 15? 16?
Also judging by your size, are your parents short or have you not hit the growth spurt yet, because if you havent, there are alot of lifting that will hinder your growth.
You can build muscle at any time, but height is another thing so dont do any vertical lifting above your head, or stuff that messes with your knees.
How many sets/rep also?
For resistance its 3/15
For Muscle building (no good imo, its for people who want big muscles but cant do anything with them..) its 3/10.
You want to do 3/15 and when it becomes too easy for you, then you move up in weight.
Depending on position of baseball you might want to do other types of work outs, i dont really know much about baseball, but that outfielder position probably needs a strong arm and good shuttle speed (Not cardio, SPEED). Pitcher looks like alot of work on motion, technique and arm strength.

Hell yeah. Baseball is life.
I am going to be playing at Indiana State next year on scholarship. I am a typical D1 utility college baseball player. I mainly play infield and have a strong bat and can get the job done any time. Had labrum surgery, so that set me back a year and took about 5-10+ mph off of my throwing. If I didn't have surgery, I would probably be throwing about 86mph. But, that's life ... gotta play the hand you are given.
If you want any advice about baseball, or if you just want to talk about it, give me a shout. I love talking about baseball, and I LOVE helping other people with the sport. I definitely know how to succeed and train for the sport. I play for a top ranked team in the country and can compete with the nation's best kids my age (18).

WOw, did you get a scholarship if so, how much? I almost had to get tommy john but i stopped when i went to try out i am a outfielder so without my throwing arm i am nothing. I pushed through it and hurt so it was like 3 hop rainbows and the coaches that i was normally like that so i didnt make the team. It still hurts but thats because its weak... i will be ready for next year! I WILL GET MY REVENGE

Just saw the post now, lol.
FYI, the weightroom doesn't make baseball players who they are. It's experience, fundamentals, and being fluid. Sure getting strong helps here and there, and helps you fill out a jersey, but it won't make your arm strength stronger (it'll actually hurt it more), and it won't make you better at the things baseball requires of you.
I, for one, know for a fact that lifting is less important than other baseball drills and workouts. As I talked about above, I had major shoulder surgery and still have not FULLY recovered. I am constantly having irritating pains throwing and through out the day. I can guarentee you that it is because I continue to lift. I toned down on lifting and the amount of weight I lift, but until I completely stop lifting, my arm will probably never reach 100%. Arm bands and long toss is the way to strengthen your arm. Best thing to keep your arm healthy.
Oh yeah .... I did get a scholarship. About a third. That's about what all position players get unless they sign REALLY early or if they are complete studs. Pitchers get the bigger chunks of scholarships.

Fundamentals are the most important thing even to a major leaguer. If you know how to play it doesn't matter how strong you are as long as you can throw the ball lol.
