Bored at Work Thread

Oh my Lord... The day is going by so slow. I'm on my new laptop, with none of my work on it... My files are on an encrypted hard drive. The IT guy is off of work... and I can't get on that computer worth anything. So guess what my job is today........ Sit and watch the time..

The day is going by pretty fast for me... which means theres a lot of code bugs that I have to fix hehe.

I posted a thread on there and I still haven' received a reply.

I can't install games on here. The laptops are for company work purposes only.. And yes, this is for the betterment of the company because I have a thread on here regarding VB :)


Because you have a lot of bugs to fix, does that mean you are a crappy coder? :P

Nope we have like over 100,000 files in our code base. It's very complex and about 50 people have coded it before I got to look at it. So someone else coded badly... But they had more time restraints so they got it to work most of the time at the lowest cost possible.

Yeah that kinda sucks. I've been reading the visual basic 2005 guide all day. It has over 1000 pages and for the last hour and a half I have been distracted enough to reach page 23. Woot?
