Should i get the Xbox 360, or the PS3?

I want to get the 360 for the obvious reasons of Halo 3, Gears of War and Oblivion. But i want the PS3 for games like Metal Gear Solid 4, Black 2 and Lair.

Either way, the first game im getting is Call of Duty 4. sickest looking game of all time.

The price of the machines are about the same as well. Xbox core package is 300 but i would have to get the 400 dollar one. the new PS3 being released is 350 bucks but is not backwards compatible. and from what i hear, the PS3's backwards compatibility sucks to begin with, so thats not something im worried about. if i wanna play a PS2 game, ill use my PS2...

Opinions?

Get a laptop from MDG before 7:30 today, get a free ps3 with it, comes down to the same price.

If I wasn't broke and living on the streets, id do it.

get a 360, the sony is losing all its licenses to 360 and wii, Lair was a bad game from what Ive heard. The games I want a ps3 for would be haze, and heavenly sword..

360 IMO

he doesn't. he's just saying what he wishes he could do.

me on the other hand i have 270 saved up from work and am getting a 150 dollar paycheck next week. so by december ill have my PS3...not 360.

Edit: if i can find one that is...
