Release date confirmed for July 27th, 2010

They're going to be resetting the servers this week (likely tomorrow or thursday) and shutting down the beta as a whole at the end of the month. They'll be bringing it back after a few weeks for final testing before the final release.

Me and sol are top 20 Plat 2v2

Some of these custom games that have come out are awesome (www.sc2mapster.com). I'm gonna need some buddies to help me beat some of these TD's when retail comes out

Also, start getting your friends to start playing. With no real lobby structure right now we can't really "recruit" per-say in game, save bringing in friends we already know. So get on that so we actually have people to play with once this comes out. Also, for the love of God, play. Post your ID/ Char name in the thread up top so we can all play together.

i use facebook to keep in contact with people in my real life, sometimes i like to say fuck my real life and play video games. This is the way it was meant and always will be. It's a damned paradox.

With as many people I know who I play with either on a console or online, it's hardly a place I typically go to break off contact with "real life". It's better that way, I'm playing to have fun, if I'm playing with somebody, it's because I have fun with them. Hiding from people in an increasingly populated media outlet is a losing battle. Besides, Facebooks just a goddamn mass twitter anyway, and theres no way in hell I'm pouring out my woes to my 327 friends, 3/4 of which probably wouldn't even give a damn.

Do what you like. Have fun with it. The facebook things just a shortcut for people to populate their friends list anyway, by no means is it neccessary.
